There are two ways to set up an email account in the Mail app on an iOS device - Automatically or manually. Please learn the choices that are most suitable and convenient for you.

Set up an email account automatically

If using an email provider such as iCloud, Google, or Yahoo, Mail can automatically set up an email account with only your email address and password. Here's the appropriate way:

  1. Go to Settings> Password & Account, then tap Add Account.
  2. Tap your email provider.
  3. Enter your email address and password.
  4. Tap Next and wait for Mail to verify your account.
  5. Select information from an email account, such as Contacts or Calendar, that you want to see on the device.
  6. Tap Save.
If the email provider isn't listed, tap More to manually add an account.

Manually manage iPhone XS email accounts

If you have to set up an e-mail account manually, make sure you know the e-mail settings for the account. If you don't know the e-mail settings, you can search for them or contact the e-mail provider. After that, follow these steps:

  1. Go to Settings> Password & Account, then tap Add Account.
  2. Tap Other, then tap Add Mail Account.
  3. Enter your name, email address, password, and account description.
  4. Tap Next. Mail will try to find email settings and complete account settings. If Mail finds your e-mail settings, tap Done to complete the account configuration.

Get to know the iPhone Button

There are several buttons on the iPhone, namely:
  1. On the left side there are 3 buttons, namely (+) / (-) / and switches. (+) And (-) buttons to adjust the speaker volume while the switch turns off the volume.
  2. On the top side of the iPhone there is a power button.
  3. On the right side there is a sleep / wake button to turn off and turn on the screen.
  4. Home button on the front side below.

How to Activate iPhone XS First Time

The first thing to note is to make sure your iPhone XS is connected to the internet network. For the activation process as follows:

  • In the Hello view press the Home button
  • The choice of country or region will be displayed
  • Activate the location to get feature support
  • Activate Touch ID (you can skip this step)
  • Continue to the Restore option (for those of you who have used an iPhone), but for new users can pass this process
  • Login to Apple ID (or register for those who don't have it)
  • Set the Siri application (this step can be skipped)
  • If it's finished you just wait until the activation process is complete
