The latest research announces that the iPhone that glides in 2020 will come with 5G and carry different screen dimensions. Apple is expected to use a 5G modem from Qualcomm for the future iPhone. Apple's 5G modem is expected to be available in 2022.

The 5G capability used by the iPhone 2020 apparently supports two main network standards, sub-6GHz and mm Wave technology. The current Wave Milimiter spectrum is the standard 5G network used in the United States.

In addition, the iPhone 2020 will have a different screen size compared to the trio of iPhone that slid in 2018. Three iPhone models that glide in 2020 will carry a screen measuring 6.7 inches, 5.4 inches and 6.1 inches.

Models that use the 6.7-inch screen are of course the successor to the iPhone XS Max, slightly larger than the 6.5-inch screen used today.

For the successor to the iPhone XR it will have the same size of 6.1 inches. But Apple will replace the LCD display panel that was previously used as an OLED panel. The successor to the iPhone XR will only support LTE networks

While for the iPhone 11 which slid in the fall of this year, it will still rely on an Intel 4G modem, although Intel recently left the modem business.
